Hi, I’m Mehboob, a Chief Technology Officer and Senior Software Engineer with more than a decade of experience designing, building, and leading enterprise software solutions for clients across the US and beyond.
I enjoy working where technology meets real business challenges. Throughout my career I’ve architected platforms from the ground up, led engineering teams, and remained hands-on with development because I genuinely enjoy solving difficult technical problems. My experience spans ASP.NET Core, C#, Azure, AI-powered applications, nopCommerce, Shopify, WordPress, payment gateways, ERP and CRM integrations, cloud architecture, and enterprise automation.
What I enjoy most about this job isn’t just writing code—it’s understanding how a business operates and designing software that makes those operations simpler, faster, and more reliable. Whether it’s automating legal workflows, integrating compliance systems, building eCommerce platforms, or creating AI-powered solutions, I like taking complex processes and turning them into products people can depend on every day.
As CTO, I work closely with clients to understand their goals, define technical strategy, design scalable architectures, mentor development teams, and ensure projects are delivered with quality and long-term maintainability in mind. At the same time, I still enjoy getting into the codebase, designing core systems, and tackling the challenging problems that require hands-on engineering.

From innovative websites to scalable digital solutions, these projects reflect my passion for turning ideas into impactful experiences.
This is the project I’m proudest of because I had the opportunity to architect it from the ground up. Together with the team, I designed a complete ecosystem for players, dealers, venues, and administrators. Beyond the scoring engine and seasonal leaderboards, one of the most exciting additions has been the XP system, rewarding players for consistency, early check-ins, achievements, visiting new venues, and community participation. Watching the platform continue to evolve and engage thousands of players has been incredibly rewarding.
A fascinating project because every collateral type followed different business rules. I developed workflows for applicants, defendants, mortgage information, document management, payment processing through Authorize.Net, DocuSign integration, automatic payment reauthorizations, and notification systems. The challenge wasn’t writing code, it was translating a complicated legal process into something simple for users..
This project was built on nopCommerce, but heavily customized around a vehicle transportation business. I helped design and develop the complete quote workflow where customers select pickup and delivery locations, vehicle details, shipping preferences, and payment authorization. We integrated pricing APIs to calculate real-time transportation costs and automatically submit qualified leads or confirmed quotes, making the entire booking process much more efficient.
One of the more unique projects I’ve worked on. I developed the multi-step egg donor registration process, allowing users to create detailed profiles with image galleries, profile completion scoring, and intelligent matching. The challenge was designing an experience that made collecting large amounts of information feel simple and intuitive for users.
Although much of the visual design was already established, I led the engineering effort to ensure every part of the implementation met the client’s extremely high expectations for performance, responsiveness, and pixel-perfect execution. Coordinating the team while balancing complex UI requirements made this one of the more rewarding delivery projects.
A geolocation platform I helped build alongside Cannfind, giving licensed dispensaries and cultivators an interactive map to list their facilities and showcase their products to customers. It’s tightly linked with Cannfind under the hood — retail data flows between the two systems, so what’s live in Cannfind’s marketplace shows up seamlessly on Budsmaps. I like that this one sits closer to the customer-facing side of the business, turning the same compliance-grade data into something a shopper can actually browse.

Rock N Roll Poker League. Building the architecture from scratch and seeing thousands of players use it every week is incredibly satisfying. It’s one of those projects that keeps evolving and continues to challenge me technically.

Artificial Intelligence is my biggest focus. I’m exploring AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), MCP servers, workflow automation, and how AI can improve business processes rather than simply automate tasks.
Probably as someone who enjoys solving difficult problems and helping others succeed. I like mentoring developers, discussing architecture, and working closely with both clients and engineering teams to find practical solutions.
As CTO, I help define technical strategy, design system architecture, mentor engineering teams, review implementations, and work directly with clients to turn business ideas into scalable products. I still enjoy being hands-on, especially when it comes to architecture and solving complex technical challenges.
Projects with challenging business logic. Some of my favorite work has involved compliance systems, payment platforms, logistics, healthcare, AI, and enterprise automation because they require understanding both the technology and the business behind it.

Dubai remains one of my favorite places. The Corniche, the atmosphere, and the blend of modern architecture with culture left a lasting impression on me.
Even after years in leadership, I still love writing code. I believe the best technical decisions come from staying close to the technology and understanding the challenges developers face every day.
