When I graduated I followed my mother’s career into the marketing world because I spent time in and around her office and came to love the fast-paced, dynamic style of work. We’re lucky as advertisers that we constantly get to work on exciting new projects, for a wide variety of clientele – keeping things fresh always.

Multinational Education Whitelabel Client
The client program pages had a flat architecture with outdated designs and content that was harming their visibility on Google, and converting visitors into prospective students.
Problem 1:
Program pages had no URL structure which told Google: This program belongs to a certain faculty. Without this, ranking on Google results pages for top-of-funnel search terms like “accounting degrees” was proving to be very challenging.
Problem 2:
Program pages were severely outdated, in need of a design refresh, and did not highlight the incredible testimonials from both alumni and faculty members.
Solution:
We revamped how their programs were presented to Google, by giving their URLs a hierarchical structure, creating faculty hub pages which housed all programs under each faculty, and redesigning the website navigation for visitors to easily find the programs they were looking for.
Additionally, we did a total design overhaul of the program page to bring them up to speed with leading competitors, and highlight the amazing testimonials and video content available for their programs.
Being able to enhance prospective students’ inbound journeys from inquiries to students was very gratifying, and we’re already seeing higher visibility on Google, and higher conversion rates for page visitors, far earlier than what we expected. The project has been an all around success for the client.

My favorite side of SEO is the technical, structural things. I enjoy working on sites as a whole and improving their overall ease of use for the user and visibility for search engines.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going out to the amazing restaurants and wine farms around Hermanus. I also spend (a lot of) time gaming. My favourite games: Rust, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Runescape.
